The 2010 AFL Season is just round the corner…….
Well tippers it’s a sure thing that footy season is fast approaching when the back pages of the newspapers are filled with stories of Mark ‘The Dud’ Philippoussis’s 18th comeback attempt, or how the Swedes have once again taken over the Heineken Beer Garden at the Tennis Centre.
And I have a newsflash for all my Swedish mates. Well, my one Swedish mate Nicke, who comes out every year to spend all his time in the Beer Garden chanting dirty Swedish songs.
The news is that the Beer Garden has moved!!!!!! It’s now on the oval near Vodaphone Arena, I mean, Hisense arena or whatever it’s now called.
Anyway I love summer, but I miss my footy.
But just when all appears to be lost, I stumble on the pre season ’back on the track’ photo galleries that they use to get us salivating…………
Now seeing Bucks on the track gets me excited!

So for all tippers like me who have been missing their footy action for the last few months, and, in the immortal words of Jessica Watsons counsellor, “there’s only about 4000 miles to go!”
