Ladies and germs,
I've been called down to Sydney urgently to give
some life advice to Big Bad Barry Hall, so there'll be no update this
week.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your
persuasion!
I'll make a couple of quick observations about the
round just completed:
1. The Pies are back. For one
round anyway! I'm sure we'll find a way to lose against the Crows this
week.
2. SUPERBOOT wins his second round so far this
season. His Network Ops AFL Weekly Winner medallions (yet to be
pressed due rather high gold prices) will no doubt sit on the mantlepiece
alongside his 1981 Brownlow!
3. The Rabbitohs are on fire! Two last minute victories
in two rounds, but calm down Benny, there's still a long way to the
finals! You're a mathematical chance however, that's for
sure.
4. In an effort to create some competition amongst
those more ordinary AFL players, the AFL have
created seperate 'Nissan Pintara Goal of the Year'
and 'Toyota Paseo Mark of the Year' categories for players that
are not named Dale
Thomas.
